THE AUTUMN JOURNAL
An autumn season through the eyes of a bear...

THE STORY BEHIND THE COLLECTION
This collection was inspired by quiet moments and crisp air - a gentle descent into autumn through the eyes of our most thoughtful little bear. Each candle in the “Autumn Journal” tells a story, handwritten with memory and warmth. From golden orchards and smoky bonfires to silent evenings beneath falling leaves, each scent marks a pause in the season - a page in the bear’s journal.
These are not just candles. They are entries in a journey - stories of solitude, coziness, and quiet joy. Each label is hand-illustrated, and each scent carries you a little deeper into fall.
Pull the blankets in. Light a match. Let the season unfold, one journal entry at a time.

THE SCENTS

LATE HARVEST
The apples have softened, the plums are heavy and the air tastes like forgotten wine. I wandered to the orchard today, brushed against vines so ripe they sang. It’s still warm - just enough for one more sun nap - but I can feel the edge of chill in the breeze. I tucked a fig behind my ear like a crown. Today felt golden and slow. I think I’ll remember it when the frost comes.
Notes: Redcurrant, warm oak, orchard fruit

PERFECT LEAF
At last, Autumn has arrived. I can feel it in the air... a new restlessness, a stirring within me. The trees are paling, turning to amber and gold. I found a perfect leaf today, the first of many, and tucked it between these pages. It’s time to start another journey.
Notes: Fresh leaves, cedar, bergamot

VELVET PUDDLES
I took the forest path today, just as the sun dipped low. The trees whispered secrets in rustling tongues. Shadows pooled like velvet puddles, and the air wrapped me in something rich and deep. It smells like stories - the kind we don’t tell until the fire’s burning low. I carried that hush home with me.. P.S. It’s Rach’s birthday today. I hope she liked her gift
Notes: Warm vanilla, deep patchouli, sandalwood

EMBERFALL
Tonight, we lit the first fire of the season. Sparks rose into the black sky like wild thoughts, and the smoke curled sweet like sugar and ash. I sat close enough to toast my paws. Every pop in the flames sounded like the past crackling its way out. I smelled my fur after and it reminded me of campfires from when I was just a cub.
Notes: Smoky fir, bonfire spice, clove

SPICED SOLITUDE
I didn’t speak to anyone today, and it was perfect. I brewed something warm, tucked under the quilt with a book that smelled like autumn’s breath. The scent of citrus and spice swirled in the air, soft and slow. This is the kind of peace I wish I could bottle. Silence, like a second skin.
Notes: Pumpkin cookie, ginger, creamy vanilla

Crafted Like a Memory
Each scent in the Autumn Journal collection was blended to evoke a feeling of change, nostalgia, and warmth—like turning the pages of a season gone by. Layered with emotion, earthy notes, and the quiet beauty of fall, each pour captures a journal entry in scent form. Paired with bespoke artwork and a letterpress-style card, Autumn Journal invites you to experience the shift in seasons through the senses.
Through Bear's Eyes...
This collection was imagined as a story told through the eyes of our Bear - wandering forest trails, watching leaves fall, collecting thoughts as the days grow shorter. It’s a quiet celebration of slowing down and being present. Whether you're lighting it on a crisp morning or cosy evening, we hope these six scents stir something real.
One season. Six scents. Stories told in wax.
